WAVi Scan System
- What it measures:
- resting EEG rhythms by frequency band and region; the P300 event-related potential to an auditory oddball task (amplitude and latency) with reaction time recorded alongside; quantitative EEG (QEEG) band power and coherence, so a baseline and a retest compare on the same numbers.
- Session:
- roughly 20 minutes, in office, rapid-placement headset.
- The kit:
- headset, amplifier, headphones and ear clips, WAVi software.
- Price:
- $19,125 all in (device, install, training on site or virtual, workflow setup). No software or per-scan fee. Ships with a 90-session disposables starter; disposables about $45 a session after that.
- Coverage:
- decided by your payer. Each service performed is coded on its own: the EEG recording, the physician's analysis, and the standardized tests. Coverage depends on your contractor's policy, the documented indication, the equipment and method, and the interpreting physician.
- Billing codes and CY2026 Medicare national amounts
-
Billed only when medically necessary for a documented sign or symptom. CY2026 Medicare national amounts, non-facility; each payer sets its own rate. Listing a code is not a promise of payment. Confirm every code with your own biller before the first claim.
